The Partners of Mac McGee were eager to bring authentic Irish pub culture to Roswell. Mac McGee made its debut on Canton Street in March of 2013.
Roswell’s first true Irish pub features gorgeous red exterior and cozy classic interior to stay true to the traditional aspects of the original Irish public house. Most of the interior was hand chosen and imported directly from Ireland, including woodwork, antiques, lighting, and artwork.
Unlike most American Irish pubs, Mac McGee features a from-scratch kitchen by top-rated chef, Larry Powers who honed his craft for three years in Ireland as well as many more years stateside. Sourcing ingredients from local vendors makes his craft truly unique; you won’t find any frozen food here!
Along with chef crafted food comes craft beer, craft cocktails, and of course our extensive whiskey selection, larger than any other outside the perimeter. Whatever your tastes are, you’re sure to find what you like at Mac McGee with a friendly face ready to serve you. So, come enjoy a little craic and banter at our neighborhood pub. Sláinte!
Our logo, The ‘Currach’,is an Irish fishing boat. The Currach was chosen because it represents the heritage, culture & history of Ireland. With three men toting the large boat, this image symbolizes hardwork, community, and camaraderie, three qualties we take pride in at our pub.
